Due to the nature of this class, some pre-planning of your tombstone is recommended. Posted in the files section of the Calhaunts Group page is a pdf file named “tombstonetemplate.pdf". Please download this, print it out and use as a guide for a few details needed before attending, such as....
*What name will be on the tombstone?
Please keep the first and last name short and dates if your really adventurous.
*What font you will use?
Make sure to choose a font that best suits your tools and skill level. See template notes.
*How big will the font need to be in order to fit the tombstone? Remember to think outside the 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Once you have made a decision, use a text editing application such as Microsoft's Word or other similar application on your computer to print out a template that you can bring to the class. Print at full scale, as this will be what we will use to transfer the name to the tombstone.
Note:
Due to the nature of this course, Please make sure that you able to devote enough time to this project. We wouldn’t want you to walk away with a nude tombstone.
